There are a number of excellent regional Markets for the large group staying on the Mornington Peninsula. The best known of these is the Redhill Farmers’ Market, with other excellent options in Balnarring (Emu Plains Market) and Mt Eliza.
Spring weather brings a bounty of fresh produce and the reopening of RedHill and Emu Plains markets.
Red Hill Craft Market

Running since 1975, you can find this market on Arthur’s Seat Road. With 300 stalls this is a ver popular market, so do allow plenty of time to park your car (parking donations currently support the Red Hill Lions Club) and to wander around. Please note: no dogs allowed.

The market features fresh local fruit (for example RedHill cherries, in season) and vegetables, as well as prepared food, condiments, sauces, arts and craft items. Stalls include:
- Elfreds of the Peninsula: a chef-run stall featuring chutneys, jams and pickles. Fred, the man behind the brand, has been living and working on the Mornington Peninsula since 2000.
- Nicolas Olives. While this producer is from Dimboola, their tasty olives and excellent oils are not to be missed.
- Red Hill Mud: this family-run business bakes in small batches using the finest natural ingredients for their desserts, cakes and sauces
- Red Hill Roast Gourmet Coffee: roasting weekly, this local institution is THE place to get your caffeine fix
Emu Plains Market (Balnarring)
3rd Saturday of the Month, October to April; 9am to 2pm

The 200 stallholders include farm fresh local produce, handcrafted Mornington Peninsula items, gourmet food, hot food carts, wine tastings (local wineries), cut flowers, kids entertainment and live music.
Mount Eliza Farmers’ Market
4th Sunday of the Month, all year; 9am to 1pm
As an accredited Farmers’ Market, Mt Eliza hosts many local growers and producers, as well as some excellent stalls from further afield. Stock up your larder or grab some picnic provisions.
